A Very Merry Christmas To You–CTD #217

Hi, all, back again with this week’s Color Throwdown challenge! This week Denise has presented us with a stunning color combo!

I wanted to use today’s MFT teaser set, Stitched Stockings, again so I kept it simple. I embossed a Sweet Tooth card stock background with snowflakes and added a layered strip across the center, using Nightshift Blue card stock and Jellybean Green card stock. To jazz it up a bit, I covered the center green strip with glitter—easy peasy with 1” Scor-Tape. I stamped the Stocking Trio die cut with the new Jellybean Green ink and popped it up on foam.

I also used one of the Nightshift Blue buttons from the MFT Boutique, and some navy blue twine. The sentiment, also from Stitched Stockings, was stamped on a Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX die cut.
