I decided to make a bunch of tags for my project today. Tags are always needed, right? And with all the awesome Die-namics dies, you can have a wide variety of them. I used the largest size of my new Die-namics Decorative Circle Tag STAX for the base of all of my tags and went from there to design each tag.
For the first one, the base is Kraft card stock with some neutral patterned paper cut with my Die-namics Circle STAX, then I popped up a Die-namics Poinsettia, using two layers of each size, both sizes of the leaves, and a blinged up center. To finish it off I added some twill and a hemp cord tied Paver Red button.
This one has a Sweet Tooth card stock base, a Wild Cherry card stock layer, a patterned paper layer, and then a white Die-namics Open Scallop Doily Duo layer. Then I added a circle of bling, stamped the sentiment—from the soon-to-be-released Stitched Stockings set and popped up a stocking from the set. The stocking was stamped with the new Wild Cherry ink and embellished with a Wild Cherry button and Maraschino Red baker’s twine. Finally, I finished it off with some red gingham ribbon and some tinsel.
This one might be my favorite. Or it is the poinsettia? Or the stocking? Or… OK, I love them all, but I am partial to wreaths :) This tag has a Kraft card stock base with the sentiment, also from Stitched Stockings, stamped in the center of the wreath. I used Jellybean Green card stock and Sour Apple card stock for the wreath Die-namics Winter Wreath die cuts and popped up the bow, cut from Wild Cherry card stock. it was finished off with some twill and a hemp cord tied Black Licorice button.
All four of the tags were stamped on the back with the “to:” and “from:” from Stitched Stockings.
And, the last one. This one has a Nightshift Blue card stock base, a Sweet Tooth card stock layer, and a patterned paper layer, both cut with my Die-namics Circle STAX. Then I cut out a Die-namics Jumbo Snowflake and popped it up on foam. The sentiment, from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas, was stamped on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag, embellished with some Copic-colored rhinestones, and popped up on foam, as well. Some twill, a Grape Jelly button, and some navy blue twine.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this project:
