MFT December New Product Tour

It’s time! It’s TIME!! Time to shop if you haven’t already! MFT’s December release is now live in the MFT Boutique and ready to go home with you!

Welcome to this month’s New Product Tour. I’m showing you Lovey Dovey Sentiments and boy, are they EVER just that! Something for everyone in this set. Alrighty, then, let me show you what I did with this set and some of the awesome new products releasing this month. It’s a long post, so get comfy and let’s get started.

For my first card, I went kinda vintage. I stamped the sentiment on a Die-namics Polka Dot Greetings Die Only die cut, adhered it to a Die-namics Designer Labels STAX 2 layer and popped them up on foam.

You can see a Die-namics Simply Scallops Small peeking out from under it, too.

I did some distressing, added some bling, and tied around some seam binding before adding a Die-namics Hearts A Plenty die cut topped with some Die-namics Mini Royal Roses and Die-namics Royal Leaves. Very romantic, don’t you think?

For my second card, I stamped the sentiment on a Die-namics Oval STAX die cut and popped it up on a layer from my Die-namics Layered Label set, then popped THAT up on a Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX die cut. I LOVE how easy it is to interchange all the layers with Die-namics dies!

I did some stitching, added a Red Hot grosgrain ribbon strip and tied on some hemp cord, then another Die-namics Hearts A Plenty, topped with “xo” made with my Die-namics By the Letters.

I went sort of graphic with this card. Straightforward layout with some bling (Valentine’s Day is a perfect excuse to use bling—as if I *needed* an excuse ;-)) and some Red Hot grosgrain ribbon wrapped around and tied with a Black Licorice button and Maraschino Red baker’s twine.

The sentiment was stamped on some patterned paper and cut out with my Die-namics Circle STAX, layered with another size, and then backed with a new Die-namics Sentimental Flourish die cut.

My final card is another simple layout and is pretty masculine in style—it would be great for someone that you know wouldn’t want a traditional Valentine’s Day card.

I stamped the “LOVE U” sentiment on subtly patterned paper with the new Lemon Drop ink that’s being released this month—just look at the amazing coverage these inks provide! LOVE. I stamped it on a new Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX die cut and popped it up on foam dots. Hint: any time I want to pop up patterned paper, I always cut a second from card stock and adhere them together for sturdiness.

I stamped another sentiment from the set on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag and popped that up, as well.

To keep it masculine, no ribbon or bling was used in the making of this card ;-) Instead, I tied some hemp cord on a Nightshift Blue button, a Wild Cherry button, and a Lemon Drop button and adhered them in a cluster for a little balance and textural interest.
