Just Be Happy–MFT May Teaser, Day Six

teaserday6_2013may6

Hi, all, I’m back with Day Six of MFT’s May Teasers. To get all the details, be sure to check out the MFT Blog for set and Die-namics reveals, chances to win prizes, and more inspiration from the awesome design team. And don’t forget, everything we’re previewing will be available to purchase at 10pm on May 7th!

I had so much fun with this card! First, I cut out some Black Licorice card stock with a May-release Die-namics Heirloom Label die and stamped the sentiment, from May’s Triple Scoop set, Chalkboard Greetings with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Then I added some white pigment ink for the “chalkboard” effect. My card base is Razzle Berry card stock and I made a raised panel from Sweet Tooth card stock with a border on each side made with LLD Border It – Mod Borders. To make the border, I stamped the chevron panel once and cut it down the middle—voila’!

Then I tied around some baker’s twine and popped the panel up on foam, finally adding some black enamel dots for accent.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:
