Hi, all, and welcome to Day One of MFT’s May Teaser Time! I am so excited to be showing you Die-namics LJD Wildflowers. Please check out the MFT Blog for full set and Die-namics reveals, to comment to win a prize, and more inspiration from the design team. Release is May 7 at 10 PM.
My first card is using some spikey flowers from the set, along with the die. I used water-based markers to ink up the image and stamped it three times on the die cut. Then I popped it up on foam and tied a sweet little mini gingham ribbon around. The sentiment was stamped with Jellybean Green ink and I’m using Kraft card stock, Razzle Berry card stock, and Whip Cream card stock.
Another spike graces the inside, along with another sentiment:
*****
For my second card, I stamped the spikes on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice ink, then cut out the little poppies with Die-namics LJD Wildflowers, and stamped them with the soon-to-be-released Red Hot ink and Sour Apple ink. They were popped up on foam, then a panel stamped with the back ground stamp from LJD Pretty Poppies was added on top with some baker’s twine and a Black Licorice button. the sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink and a few enamel dots provide an accent.
The inside has another sentiment from the set:
*****
My third card uses a new card stock color being introduced this month: Steel Blue. I’m using Steel Blue ink, as well as a Steel Blue button tied on with hemp cord.
I stamped some of the flowers on some Whip Cream card stock and then die cut one image with Die-namics LJD Wildflowers to pop up on foam. This color is perfect for this sympathy card.
Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set:
*****
My last card is bright and cheerful, using Lemon Drop card stock, Black Licorice card stock, and Sweet Tooth card stock. The background images were stamped with Black Licorice ink and the Die-namics LJD Wildflowers die cut element with Lemon Drop ink and Black Licorice ink. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag, layered with Black Licorice card stock and popped up on foam.
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:
