Hi, there, everyone! It’s time for Crazy 4 Challenges again! Today Silke Ledlow has a sketch challenge for us and she’s added the twist of a color AND theme challenge, so head on over to the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to get all the details. I thoroughly enjoyed working all the angles of this challenge—thanks for a great one, Silke!!

The theme is wedding card, with the colors gold, peach, and two greens for the palette. I started with a gold metallic card base and added the strips on the next layer which was stamped with an image from MFT’s Finishing Flourishes in Encore Gold ink on Sweet Tooth card stock. The next layer was embossed with Modern Moroccan Die-namics, then the sentiment, from Happy Thoughts, was stamped with Black Licorice ink on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with a Pierced Circle STAX Die-namics die. That was popped up on foam, then I added a First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics flag just to fill up some space cut from gold corrugated paper—love the little bit of dimension that provides. From Gumdrop Green card stock I cut a Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics and from Spearmint card stock I cut a Leafy Flourish Die-namics and adhered them. I then cut out several sizes of the Layered Rose Die-namics, shaped the petals and added it on the greenery. To finish it off, I adhered a large flat-backed pearl.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Romance.
