I {Heart} You–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Two

Hey, everyone! Back today with Day Two of MFT’s January Release Countdown! We have more love for you today, so be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for the details, and don’t forget release is on January 7th at 10pm.

I have a really CAS card for you today, but I think those red hearts really pack a punch! Today’s card is using the new Staggered Heart Border Die-namics for it’s focus. I started with a card base and layer of Sweet Tooth card stock. I cut the hearts from Red Hot card stock and then covered them with Crackle Accents and allowed to dry. Here’s a close up of that:

After it dried, I sponged it with some Kraft ink to bring out the crackles a little more and popped it up on foam. Before I did that, though, I stamped the sentiment, from Heart Balloons, another new set this month, with Steel Gray ink, then added some strips of Scor-Tape and sprinkled them with glitter.

On the inside, there’s another sentiment from Heart Balloons.
