Hey, Color Throwdown fans! I’ve got this week’s challenge for you and it’s a gorgeous one! Melody is our host this week and she’s using this peaceful outdoor setting for her inspiration. There’s not a lot of the melon, but it’s there :)
I’ve got baby card for you today. Admittedly in non-traditional baby colors but it’s not a law to use pastels, is it? ;-) I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added a Sweet Tooth card stock panel on which I stamped an image from Abstract Art three times, using Gumdrop Green ink, Razzle Berry ink, and Steel Gray ink. Then I cut a LJD Beautiful Baby Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock, stamped it with the image from LJD Beautiful Baby in Steel Gray ink and popped it up on foam. Before I did that, I stamped the sentiment, then added the heart, cut from Razzle Berry card stock.
On the inside is another sentiment from LJD Beautiful Baby.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD288 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!

Sweet card Barb. Love the colorful paint strips behind the cute image.
ReplyDeleteI love this baby card in the brighter colors! Ordered this set and just haven't had time to play with it yet! All the kids are coming home this w/e for Easter so need to get a bunch of cleaning done that I've neglected far too long. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome colors for a baby card, Bar...love the paint splashes behind that sweet little elephant and all the white space!!!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, this is darling! I love how you used the Abstract set on the background!
ReplyDeleteDangit... finally going to go put Abstract Art on my wish list! It keeps getting longer and longer 'cause of you! This is tooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, Barbara! I must admit I struggled with these colors a bit, but you used them brilliantly as a background. What a cute baby card.
