Birthday Cupcakes – MFT Color Palette Challenge #7

MFTCPC7_2014jul3

Hi, everyone, it’s time for July’s MFT Color Palette Challenge! This month’s colors are Sno Cone, Banana Split, Blu Raspberry, and Tangy Orange.

I love the cupcake tree from this set so I used it for this card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then stamped up some patterned paper using a soon to be released background stamp: Confetti Background, and stamped with Blu Raspberry ink and Tangy Orange ink on Sno Cone card stock. I layered on another new product, Square Grid Cover Up Die-namics cut from Tangy Orange card stock and popped it all up on foam. Next, I tied some turquoise and pale yellow baker’s twine around a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock on which I stamped Diagonal Stripes Background with Blu Raspberry ink. and popped that up, as well. The sentiment was stamped on a Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics cut from Sno Cone card stock with Black Licorice Hybrid ink. I stamped the cupcake tree on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink that was cut with BB Sweet Birthday Wishes Die-namics and, colored with Copic markers and popped it up, too.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.
