Hi, everyone, it’s time again for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has a great sketch for us this week, as usual!
I think this one would be fun to flip, but I stayed with the original orientation for my card today. I’m using a bunch of soon-to-be-released MFT products today. I started with a Steel Gray Card Stock base then added a Wild Cherry Card Stock layer. To that I added some Sweet Tooth card stock stenciled with Jumbled Letters Stencil and embossing paste at the top. Moving down is a strip of Sweet Tooth Card Stock stamped with an image from BB Class Act using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and at the bottom, Sweet Tooth Card Stock stamped with Fine Check Background and Wild Cherry Ink. Next I trimmed some off of a Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics cut from Wild Cherry Card Stock and adhered that, following the sketch.
The focal image is also from BB Class Act and is actually two images from the set stamped on Steel Gray Card Stock with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I colored in the apple just a little with a Prismacolor pencil to try to simulate colored chalk. It was framed with Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics cut from Kraft Card Stock that was stamped with Wood Plank Background and Kraft Ink. I finished off by stamping the sentiment, also from BB Class Act, with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and Wild Cherry Ink on a Circle STAX 2 Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock and popped up on foam.
And, on the inside is another sentiment from BB Class Act along with multiples of the apple image.
And that’s it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers have for you today:

ReplyDeleteBarb this is frickin' amazing! Before reading your post I had a sneaking suspicion you made your own patterned paper and I was right! I really like the white base to make all of the details pop!!
