Hi, everyone! It’s the first Thursday of December (how on EARTH did THAT happen???) so that means it’s time for another MFT Color Palette Challenge! This month’s colors are: Whip Cream, Paver Red, Timber Green, and Jellybean Green—a nice winter palette.
I’m still in need of Christmas cards so that’s what I did. I started with a Whip Cream card stock base. I stamped the sentiment, from MPD Starry Christmas on another piece of Whip Cream card stock with Delicata Gold ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I matted that with metallic gold card stock and popped it up on foam. I created a Poinsettia Die-namics, cut from Paver Red card stock and the leaves from Timber Green card stock and Jellybean Green card stock. Before assembling the poinsettia, I swiped the edges with some gold ink. The center was cut from metallic gold card stock. I added gold sequins to the center and scattered on the card front and it was done!
Another sentiment from MPD Starry Christmas was stamped on the inside and also heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
