NewReleaseCountdown_Day4

Today we’re previewing BB Somebunny Stamp Set, BB Somebunny Die-namics, Headphones Die-namics, MP3 Player Die-namics, Keep on Rockin' Stamp Set, and Equalizer Stencil.

So much fun was had making these cards! My first one started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I added another layer of Sweet Tooth card stock that I dry embossed with another new stencil this month, Polka Dot Stencil. Next is a panel of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Houndstooth Background (be still my heart!) and a new ink color this month, In the Buff hybrid ink. Think manila folder color when you think In the Buff. It’s going to become a favorite neutral of mine, for sure! next up is Berrylicious card stock cut from Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics used as a background for the star of this show, a scene using several images from BB Somebunny Stamp Set. (The grass is from an older set, BB Sunflower Sweetheart). The images were cut from X-Press It Blending Card, stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers, then popped up on foam mounting tape. The top sentiment strip was cut from the new Pure Plum card stock with Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics, then stamped with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder. A clear button, tied with hemp cord, finishes it off. The rest of the sentiment was stamped on a narrow strip of Sweet Tooth card stock and popped up on foam mounting tape.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside with Pure Plum hybrid ink and Black Licorice hybrid ink.

We’re going to rock out with the next card!

I started by stamping Sheet Music Background on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I stenciled the bottom with Equalizer Stencil and these inks, left to right: Orange Zest dye ink, In the Buff dye ink, and Summer Splash dye ink. I cut MP3 Player Die-namics from Orange Zest card stock and added the screen, cut from Grout Gray card stock and stamped with a sentiment from Keep on Rockin’ and Summer Splash dye ink. The ear buds were made from Grout Gray card stock, Orange Zest card stock, with silver metallic paper accents. The sentiment, also from Keep on Rockin’, was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder. I layered it on silver metallic paper and popped it up on foam mounting tape along with the MP3 Player Die-namics element. I finished off with some enamel dots. This card is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges.

More Equalizer Stencil work on the inside with Summer Splash dye ink and the sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice dye ink.
