Hi, all, it’s time for this month’s MFT Design Team Challenge, Die-namics Design! This month the challenge is “On the Border.”
Every new card presents a brand-new canvas for embellishment and creative play. Most cards feature four distinct edges just waiting to be enhanced by some type of decorative border element. With close to thirty different border Die-namics in the shop, you’re sure to find the perfect accent – no matter the occasion or sentiment. With this challenge, our team will expand your view of border elements with a variety of eye-opening new ways that will push the boundaries of your border Die-namics collection.
So, I decided to pretty much cover most of my card front with border die cuts! I’m using Stitched Scallop Edges Die-namics for my card. With it I cut out Electric Red card stock, Persimmon card stock, Safety Orange card stock, Green Room card stock, Tropical Teal card stock, Blueberry card stock, Lavender Fields card stock, Pure Plum card stock and layered them in rainbow order on the front of a Kraft card stock base. The sentiment, from Happy Everything, was stamped on a strip of Kraft card stock with Black Licorice dye ink to finish off the top layer edge, and a die cut Happy Duo Die-namics supplied the rest of the sentiment. Some black enamel dots finished it off. Easy peasy and colorful—a winning combination in my book!
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from LJD Cheerful Blessings.
And that’s it for this month’s Die-namics Design Challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
