Well, I haven’t done a shaker card this week so I thought it was over due, LOL! Some sketches just MAKE me do ‘em and this was one! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut my shaker window with an Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX Die-namics, used heat resistant acetate for the window, and filled it with star sequins and confetti, along with two shades of blue and silver seed beads. I adhered it to the base and used a strip left over from another card which was created by stamping After Midnight card stock (it’s such a gorgeous dark blue!) with Versamark and Tiny Stars Background, then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Them I watered down some Sweet Tooth pigment ink and applied some fine splatters to resemble smaller stars. The sentiment, from LLD Count the Stars, was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and also heat embossed with white detail embossing powder then attached to the star strip with a Tiny Attacher. I added an arrow, cut from Ranger silver foil card stock with MSTN Go With It Die-namics, popped up on foam, then added a LLD Stars & Wishes Die-namics also cut from silver foil card stock and also popped up on foam mounting tape. I finished off with some small stars, cut from Sun, Moon, and Stars Die-namics, Blueprints 25 Die-namics, and Scattered Stars Die-namics.

Another sentiment from LLD Count the Stars was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray dye ink.

  1. This is an absolutely beautiful card. By far my favorite I have seen so far, made with the stars. Thank you for sharing.
