Thanks for Everything–CTD #362

CTD362_2015sep30

Hey, there! It’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! Vickie has these wonderful Fall colors for us to work with this week and I’m loving them!

swatch 362

My card started with a Kraft card stock base. I cut some Primitive White card stock with Blueprints 20 Die-namics and spread some embossing paste through English Brick Wall Stencil, stamped the sentiments, from LJD Fall Foliage with Chocolate Brown dye ink, and popped it up on foam mounting tape on the base. Next I cut Falling Leaves Die-namics from Orange Fizz card stock, Red Hot card stock, and Gumball Green card stock, sponged the edges with Chocolate Brown dye ink, and tied them onto the card with gold-shot baker’s twine, and finished off with some gold glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD362 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd362 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented September Guest Designer, Kelly Latevola!

  5. This card is so beautiful, the stencilled background is so subtile yet so perfect. The dark inking around the leaves gives so much depth. Gorgeous!
