Hi, everyone, welcome to another day of MFT’s Handcrafted Holiday Celebration! Today is all about tags. The Design Teams have created some tags to get you inspired, so be sure to check by the MFT Blog to
see the full list of participants for our holiday tag extravaganza—and you can participate too!

I made a couple of tags for today. My first one started with some Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Candy Stripes Background Builder and Wild Cherry dye ink and Green-Eyed Monster dye ink cut out with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics. It was trimmed with a Wild Cherry card stock grommet and a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I added a piece of Wild Cherry card stock, cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics.

Next up is some Black Licorice card stock cut with Radial Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and stamped with a sentiment from Gift Card Greetings and Versamark, then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I added the “chalk” look with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and the sweet holly leaves from BB Santa’s Elves and BB Santa’s Elves Die-namics, colored with Copic markers. Some hemp baker’s twine finished it off.

My second tag started with Stone Gray card stock cut with Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics for the base, on which I stenciled embossing paste through Snowfall Stencil. After it dried, it wasn’t quite as white as I wished so I “colored” each snowflake with Copic Opaque White and a tiny brush. Next I added Stitched Mountain Range Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock
and the sentiment, from Gift Card Greetings, stamped on Cornflower card stock cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.

I used Silver Sparkle card stock for the Blueprints 20 Die-namics element behind the sentiment and for the grommet. Snowflakes from Snowflake Flurry were also stamped on Cornflower card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Dimension was achieved by using foam mounting tape on several layers. I finished off with some hemp baker’s twine and silver glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it for my tags! Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
