Peace–SSSC #291

Hi, everyone, welcome to this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has a VERY fun sketch for us this week—and I resisted using flowers ;-)

I resisted using flowers because I can’t seem to put the new Snowflake Flurry stamp set and Snowflake Flurry Die-namics
down! I started with a Stone Gray card stock base, then, on a piece of Ranger watercolor paper, I stamped a few of the smaller images from Snowflake Flurry with Versamark and heat embossed them with white detail embossing powder before doing a watercolor wash with Blu Raspberry dye ink, Cornflower dye ink, and Blueberry dye ink. I popped that up on foam mounting tape on the base and then stamped three snowflakes in the same three colors.

I arranged them with the sentiment strip, cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics from Gravel Gray card stock and stamped with a sentiment from Merry Messages in Versamark. That was heat embossed, as well and everything popped up on foam for dimension. To finish off, I added some silver glitter enamel dots and Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins.

And there you have it! We hope to see you playing along this week at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Thanks for stopping by—see you soon!
