Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
So, I was a little intimidated by this sketch so I had to ponder on it a bit. I wanted to do something besides die cuts for the top elements so I got out my Abstract Art stamp set and used it. I’m using Periwinkle dye ink, Chili Powder dye ink, and Fuse Green dye ink for the swipes, plus Gravel Gray dye ink for the spots and stamped sentiment. The sentiment is from BB Birthday Bears and Happy Trio Die-namics, cut from gold sparkle card stock. The panel was cut with Blueprints 5 Die-namics.
My base is Sweet Tooth card stock with a layer of Ranger watercolor paper cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics and popped up on foam mounting tape. Before I did all that, though, I stamped it with Wonky Chevron Background and Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and did a water color wash with my new Peerless Watercolors. OMGosh! I love these things!!! You get such intense colors with them—I am in LOVE!! I finished my card off with a few enamel dots and was done!
Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
