MFTWSC261_2015dec31

Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I’ve been wanting to do something like this the whole season and finally got around to it, LOL! Just a little late, but there’s always next year, right? ;-) I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, stamped it with Bold Diagonal Stripes Background with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder—just to give the all white background some interest. Next is Ranger watercolor paper cut with Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics with a Peerless Watercolors wash. The horizontal element is translucent vellum wrapped around the scalloped layer and secured on the back.

I added LLD Stitched Alphabet and Snowflake Flurry stamped on a Snowflake Flurry Die-namics with Blue Yonder dye ink and popped them all up on foam mounting tape to spell JOY. The rest of the sentiment is from Merry Messages, stamped on Blueprints 13 Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and also popped up on foam. To finish off, some Pretty Pink Posh sequins in clear do the trick.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you soon!
