MFT December Release Countdown, Day Five

December!!! Can you believe it??? It’s time for December Release Countdown at MFT!! Today we’re previewing BB Adorable Elephants Stamp Set, BB Adorable Elephants Die-namics, Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX Die-namics, Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics, and Stitched Mini Scallop Oval STAX Die-namics. Release is December 8th at 10pm—mark your calendars now and get all the details at the MFT Blog.

I have a couple of cards using BB Adorable Elephants and BB Adorable Elephants Die-namics to share with you today. For my first one, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added a layer of Painted Prints Citrus Paper Pack cut with Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Then I cut a piece of Ranger watercolor paper from another size Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics, did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors, tied around some baker’s twine, popped it up on foam mounting tape, and created my little scene.



I cut the elephant, flowers, and butterflies from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, with BB Adorable Elephants Die-namics, stamped the coordinating images from BB Adorable Elephants with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored them with Copic markers. I arranged them  on the background, some popped up for dimension, and added the sentiment, stamped on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 2 Die-namics with Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam. Is that elephant not indeed adorable? Sigh.

For my second card, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added a strip of Painted Prints Citrus Paper Pack, then also did a watercolor wash on some Ranger watercolor paper with Peerless watercolors before building this scene. 

For this one, I cut a different elephant, the kite (how adorable!!) and more flowers from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, stamped the images with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored them with Copic markers, as well. I built my scene, added a sentiment done in the same manner as the first, and finished it off with enamel dots.
