Celebrate In Color–MFT February Release Countdown, Day One

If you are a fan of Desert Bouquet stamp set you are going to be very happy today :) Not only is MFT releasing Desert Bouquet Die-namics to go with the already released set, but now we have a choice of size--Large Desert Bouquet and Large Desert Bouquet Die-namics. Woohoo!! I love a choice—and sometimes you might want to use them together—I know I will.

My card today uses only Large Desert Bouquet and Large Desert Bouquet Die-namics, set into and onto a square frame made with Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. Now you can make lots of different sizes of frames :)

I started with a 4 1/4” square card base cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I stamped flowers from Large Desert Bouquet on the card front, masking where needed. Then I cut out a frame with Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX Die-namics, replaced the inner square and popping up the “frame” on foam mounting tape.



The stamped images provided a base for the flowers cut with Large Desert Bouquet Die-namics and stamped with the same colors—some of the original images are peeking out from under the die cut images, giving it a fuller look. The sentiment is from Rainbow of Happiness, stamped with Black Licorice dye ink.
