MFTWSC272_2016mar17

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

It’s a circle so shaker card, right? I started with a Stone Gray card stock base then added a layer of Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Blueprints 24 Die-namics and stamped with a sentiment from Kind Thanks stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink. Next up is a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Geometric Grid Background and Black Licorice hybrid ink, topped with a strip of Ranger Watercolor paper also stamped with Geometric Grid Background and Black Licorice hybrid ink. On this strip I colored in the little triangles with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, then adhered them both to the card front.

I made my shaker element with Sweet Tooth card stock, heat resistant acetate, foam mounting tape, Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, and Stitched Circle Scallop Frames Die-namics. I adhered that to the card front and added Twice the Thanks Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock and finished off with some enamel dots.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
