You Have a Heart of Gold–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #271

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. I absolutely LOVE the recently released Arrow Ends Background Builder from MFT!! So I used it yet again on this card. It’s so easy to use you’ll be seeing it again and again from me, I’m quite sure. This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I stamped Arrow Ends Background Builder with Versamark on Ranger Watercolor paper, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors—my absolute FAVES!! Then I went back and stamped the smaller arrow end images with Black Licorice hybrid ink and stamped some Distressed Patterns with Delicata Gold pigment ink.



For the off-center element of the sketch, I cut out a strip of the background I just created and popped the sides up on foam mounting tape on the base and added a narrow strip of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack to the base. Then I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 22 Die-namics, heat embossed with told detail embossing powder nad popped it up on foam, spanning opening. I cut Twice the Thanks from Gold Shine card stock and three copies from white card stock, adhered them together, adn adhered it to the card front. I finished off with some gold hearts cut from Blueprints 11 Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 3 Die-namics.
