CreativeConstrucBluePrints_2016apr26

Hello, there! Welcome to the April Edition of MFT’s Creative Construction With Blueprints Design Team Challenge! I’m sure you can relate - you’ve created a beautiful background or set an impressive scene but are stumbling on the placement of your sentiment. We have the solution. Our extensive collection of Blueprints includes a wide variety of sentiment strips, tags, and flags that will provide a humble home for showcasing your sentiment in style.

I find myself going to my Blueprints almost every day for sentiment strips—there are so many choices so there’s bound to be one for every design. For this card, I’m using the wavy sentiment strip from Blueprints 25 Die-namics—one of my go tos.

I started with a
Sweet Tooth card stock base, then created some patterns paper with the acorns from Forest Friends, Black Licorice hybrid ink, and Copic markers. I cut it with Blueprints 24 Die-namics, added a layer of Rainbow Stripes Paper Pack , tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next is a fishtail flag cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper with Blueprints 24 Die-namics on which I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors.

Then I created a mini scene with Forest Friends, Forest Friends Die-namics (stamped on X-Press It Blending card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored with Copic markers), and Puffy Clouds Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 25 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped up on foam. I’m kinda crushin’ on this card :)

And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
