Hi there and welcome back to Day Four of MFT’s July Release Countdown—it’s a birthday celebration! Today we’re previewing BB Beary Special Birthday Stamp Set, BB Beary Special Birthday Die-namics, Oval Shadows Die-namics - Previous Free with $60, Happy Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics, Pop-Up Elements Narrow Die-namics, and Pop-Up Elements Wide Die-namics. Remember that release is on July 5th at 10pm—get all the details at the MFT Blog.
I have a couple of cards to share with you today, beginning with the adorable set from Birdie Brown. My card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I added a front panel created from Ranger Watercolor Paper and Peerless Watercolors. I added Radiant Sun Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock adn Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. I added Stitched Oval Frames Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, popped up on foam mounting tape. Next I stamped the balloon trio from the set on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating die, colored with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and popped up as well.
Moving to the inside and using Pop-Up Elements Wide Die-namics, I added a sweet bear-in-a-box-all-tied-up-with-ribbon image—stamped and colored in the same way as the balloons. I airbrushed the background and added the card slot from Blueprints 30 Die-namics.
I thought the sentiment was perfect for this little cutie popping out of that box!
*****
My second card uses the new Happy Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics.
This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, covered with more new patterned paper, Watercolor Wash Brights Paper Pack. Then I cut Happy Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics from Ranger Watercolor Paper, colored the different die cuts with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, cut it again from Sweet Tooth card stock and inserted the watercolored pieces into it.
I popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape and finished off with some clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT’s June Release Countdown!
