Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for more info and more samples, then go snag yours! I have a card for you to show you another “out of the box” idea for using your kit.
Who said it had to be for a birthday cake, right? There are all kinds of occasions calling for cake, and a baby shower is certainly one of them :) For this card I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next, on some Ranger Watercolor Paper, I stamped Tiny Stars Background with Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and applied a water color wash using Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush. I constructed my cake layers, using Spearmint card stock and Sno Cone card stock with Sweet Tooth card stock “frosting”. The sentiment is from LJD Beautiful Baby and I used Diagonal Stripes Background for the bottom layer, both stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.
After I installed my slider mechanism, I decorated my cake with rattles cut from Sweet Tooth card stock with LJD Beautiful Baby Die-namics and stamped with LJD Beautiful Baby and Sno Cone dye ink and Spearmint dye ink. I also added some balloons cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper with BB Beary Special Birthday Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and water colored with Peerless Watercolors. I finished off with some stars, cut from Silver Sparkle card stock with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and Blueprints 25 Die-namics.
And there you have it—Twice the Wishes Card Kit is in the store just for you! Happy shopping and have fun stamping! Thanks for stopping by—see you soon!
