Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing LLD Cup of Tea, LLD Tea Party Die-namics, Harvest Buddies, Harvest Buddies Die-namics, Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack, Mini Fringe Die-namics – previous Free with $60, and Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics. Remember that release is tomorrow night, September 6th, at 10pm EDT. And be sure to check the MFT Blog for all the details.
I wanted to create a still life scene with LLD Cup of Tea and LLD Tea Party Die-namics. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice dye ink. I stamped up some wallpaper using images from the set, stamping with Bubblegum dye ink and Spearmint dye ink on Ranger Watercolor Paper, then filled in with Peerless Watercolors with a waterbrush. My “tablecloth” was made with Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics to provide the “lace” and I used Lined Up Dots Background, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder for the “embroidery”.
The cup was cut from Watercolor Wash Brights Paper Pack to simulate Jadite, the teabag was made from Translucent Vellum with tea colored with a Copic marker and a hemp cord string. The spoon was cut from Silver Shine card stock and has a “bone” handle made with Primitive White card stock.

My second card is a bit more whimsical :)
This one started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I adhered Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack. I created a frame by cutting Blueprints 29 Die-namics from Kraft card stock that was stamped with Whimsical Woodgrain Background and Kraft dye ink. I created a bunch of images from Harvest Buddies stamp set and Harvest Buddies Die-namics, stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.
A small shaker element has Heat Resistant acetate card stock for the window and the background is Ranger Watercolor Paper on which I applied a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush. I tied some hemp cord around the top, arranged my critter and tree limb and was done.
And that’s it for Day Two of MFT’s September Release Countdown. Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day One!
