Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Coral Crush, Persimmon, Berrylicious, and Gravel Gray. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I love these colors together!!! I immediately thought of the just-released Abstract Heart Die-namics so I put it to use. First I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and set it aside to dry. Next I cut Abstract Heart Die-namics out of the four challenge colors and, since I thought a little sparkle was called for, Silver Sparkle card stock. I arranged the pieces randomly and secured them in place with tape on the back.
Then I popped up the watercolor panel on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape and popped up the assembled heart with foam tape as well. I cut Sending Hugs Die-namics from Gravel Gray card stock and adhered it with foam tape and finished off with some enamel dots.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

ReplyDeleteI need help, lol!!! Thank you, Karen
Hi, Karen! I've been pondering this, LOL! I just got them yesterday and I'm thinking I'm just going to add a page to the back solely for them and keep all the hair specific colors together. Hope this helps!
DeleteYes, it does, that's what I was thinking but I wanted to see if you came up with something better. I appreciate your response.
