NewReleaseCountdown_Day1

I have a couple of cards using today’s products to share with you starting with this one using Big Hugs Die-namics and Floral Fantasy Background. I started by stamping the background with Black Licorice dye ink on Sweet Tooth card stock and cutting the edge with Stitched Basic Edges 2 Die-namics. My card base is also Sweet Tooth card stock on which I adhered some Hearts & Stripes Paper pack.

Then I added a piece of Black Licorice card stock cut with the new Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 Die-namics for contrast and popped up the background element with foam mounting tape. I cut Big Hugs Die-namics from Ripe Raspberry card stock and Black Licorice card stock, adhered the black copy directly to the card front and popped up the Ripe Raspberry card stock copy on foam. To finish off I added some hearts cut with I’m Owl Yours Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics.

My second card feature the previously released card kit set,
Kitschy Kitchen and coordinating Die-namics and You Bake Me Happy stamp set.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then stamp a bunch of bowls and cut them out. I used retro colors that I just love: Spearmint dye ink, Blu Raspberry dye ink, Coral Crush dye ink, and Pineapple dye ink. I popped up another panel of Sweet Tooth card stock on the base with foam mounting tape and then popped up the bowls, as well.

The sentiment was stamped of Translucent Vellum with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I wrapped the ends around and secured them on the back, avoiding any risk of adhesive showing through the vellum.

And that’s it for Day One of
MFT’s January Release Countdown! Thanks SO much for stopping by—see you back tonight for New Product Release!

  1. I'm bowled over by your bowled over card. Your card for the Fantasy Floral changed my mind about the stamp. The fact that you made such a stunning card without coloring in the stamp, well that was the cats meow to me. I would have worried about not using the stamp enough because of the time it might consume, but you put that fear to rest :)

  5. Love the colorist black and white look to the floral background stamp with the pretty punch of pink and black . Popping up the hugs over the black shadow "HUGS" is a great look! The bowls are so colorful and with the fun sentiment, makes a great card.
