MFT February Release Countdown, Day One

Hi there, and welcome to Day One of MFT’s February Release Countdown! Tonight is the night—release is at 9pm Eastern so set your clocks! Today we’re previewing Fancy Flowers, Fancy Flowers Die-namics, Words for Friends Die-namics (all three were from the December Card Kit), Boss Babe, and Birdhouses Die-namics - Free with $60 for February.

This is my very favorite image from Fancy Flowers so I used it three time! Stamped on X-Press It Blending card and colored with Copic markers in three colors, I popped them up on foam mounting tape on a Sweet Tooth card base.



For the sentiment, I cut a strip of Translucent Vellum, cut Word for Friends Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock, adhered to the vellum strip, and popped it up on the flowers with clear foam tape and finished off with some enamel dots.

My second card uses Boss Babe for the sentiment.



I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors for the background. Copic Opaque White was diluted and splattered for stars and full-strength for the hand-drawn shooting star, then popped it up on a Stone Gray card stock base with foam mounting tape.



The sentiment from Boss Babe was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam. Accent stars were cut from Silver Sparkler card stock and either adhered directly or popped up on foam.
