For this card, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base the sponged Broken China Distress Oxide Ink on some Smooth White card stock (jury still out on this ink for me) and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape after added a strip of Dots & Stripes Bright Paper Pack across the bottom. Then I cut the “you” from Black Licorice card stock and popped it up on foam and added the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Translucent Vellum and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.

Then I stamped and cut the flowers from the set with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the card front and finished off with a variety of sequins.

And there you have it! Sketchy Flowers Card Kit is now available in the
MFT online store so go get yours!!! You’ll be glad you did :) Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

  19. Lovely card! I love the shorter front of the card with the inside paper showing. The color is perfect with your flowers. I also like how you have color blended just behind the flowers to bring attention to them. I also like the sentiment on vellum paper which softens the card. Great job!
