I have a couple of cards for you today starting with this fun one using Doodled Blooms Stamp Set, Doodled Blooms Die-namics, More Essential Sentiments Stamp Set, and Essential Sentiment Rip Strips Die-namics. I started by sponging my background using Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink, Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink on Smooth White card stock. Then I cut it with Essential Sentiments Rip Strips Die-namics  and splattered it with some water.

I stamped Doodled Blooms Stamp Set on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and colored them with Copic markers. Next I stamped the sentiment from More Essential Sentiments Stamp Set on the Sweet Tooth card stock base with Black Licorice hybrid ink and popped up the sponged card front with foam mounting tape. I added the flowers and Royal Leaves Die-namics (haven’t used them in forever!) and added some sequins for accent.

Here’s what you see when you lift the zip strip—how awesome is that!!?? I love these things!!!

My second card is more CAS, featuring
Rectangle Word Window Frames Die-namics.

I love this little crab from Ocean Pals Stamp Set! He was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating die, and colored with Copic markers. Being from the Tidewater area of Virginia, I HAD to color him like a Blue Crab, LOL! He has a tiny heart added cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics from Wild Cherry card stock.

I added some Hearts & Stripes Paper Pack across the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base and dry embossed more Sweet Tooth card stock with Waves Stencil before popping it up on foam mounting tape. The sentiment is from the set and framed with Rectangle Word Window Frames Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock.

And that’s it for
MFT’s May Release Countdown!! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you tonight at 9pm Eastern for the New Product Launch!

  1. Love the color on the floral card. The rip strips are a great element. The crab card is really great. The dry embossing, patterned paper, and word widow provide nice interest. And let's not forget that adorable little crab.
