MFT June Release Countdown, Day Five

Hi everyone, it’s Day Five of MFT’s June Release Countdown! June—can you believe it? June! The year will soon be half gone! We have another lineup of awesome products this month for release on June 6th at 9pm Eastern. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details. I’ve got a couple of cards for you today using some of these new products, starting with this one using Color Drops stamp set. WOW! What concept this is! And what a great way to add color to a project. Using the smallest “drop” image, I stamped it over and over in a rainbow pattern (inks listed below) across the bottom of some Sweet Tooth card stock, stamping half in one direction and half in the other.



I adhered that to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stamped the sentiment from Kind Thanks with Black Licorice dye ink. To finish off I cut Twice the Thanks Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and adhered it over the stamped colors. Done!

My second card using the adorable Lovable Leopards stamp set and Lovable Leopards Die-namics, along with Stitched Clouds Die-namics from the June Release.



How sweet is that leopard???? First I stamped the images on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and colored them with Copic markers. I did a watercolor wash background using Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor Paper and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I added scenery with (bottom to top) Sour Apple card stock and Jellybean Green card stock cut with Grassy Hills Die-namics, and Fuse Green card stock and Olive card stock cut with Scenic Safari Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped before I adhered the layers, some directly and some popped up on foam mounting tape.




Next I added a Sunshine card stock sun cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics and a Stitched Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. To finish off I popped the images up on foam mounting tape.
