MFT June Release Countdown, Day Three

Hello and welcome to Day Three of MFT’s June Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing PI Bed Rest Stamp Set, PI Bed Rest Die-namics, Ocean Fun Stamp Set, Ocean Fun Die-namics, You Float My Boat Stamp Set, You Float My Boat Die-namics, and Essential Sentiment Rip Strips Die-namics - previous Free with $60. It’s Pure Innocence day and we have another super cutie to show you. She would make anyone feel a bit better, don’t you think? I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending card, cut it out with the coordinating dies and colored it with Copic markers for the most part--I did hand draw in the plaid on her comforter with markers and added dots to the tissue box with a Uni-Ball White Gel Pen for some contrast and interest. For the background, I stamped Framework Background on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors.




Next I added a strip of Tiny Hearts Pastels Paper Pack down the side of a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then popped the background up on foam mounting tape. I also popped up the colored image and the sentiment, after heat embossing it, as well. To finish off, I added some clear sequins.

Next up is a whimsical underwater scene that I think would be a great guy card, don’t you?




To begin, I sponged Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink on Distress Woodgrain Paper, cut a hole with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics, and created a shaker element using Ocean View Porthole Die-namics, Heat Resistant Acetate card stock, foam mounting tape, Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors wash, and Ocean Fun Stamp Set and Ocean Fun Die-namics with clear sequins for “bubbles”. I wanted this to look like the inside of a boat with the porthole looking out into the water.




For the sentiment, I cut Fun & Frolic Paper Pack with File Folder Edges Die-namics, stamped the sentiment from Ocean Fun, added a sailor’s knot created with cotton yarn, and adhered it to the card front. I popped everything up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape and was done.
