Yay–A New Baby! MFT January Card Kit, Yay for You Countdown Day Two

Hi, all! So, what do you think of this month’s kit? Super fun and so versatile, right? The Design Team had some samples for you yesterday and there’s more to come today so be sure to check out the MFT Blog for all the details. Release is tonight at 9pm Eastern, so make a note!




I often look to sentiments to give me inspiration for a card and that’s exactly what I did for this card. To begin, I adhered a watercolored panel to my card base then popped up the two white panels after dry embossing them with Cloudy Day Stencil. I cut the Yay from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped it up on foam, spanning the watercolored panel.



Next I cut the little dress from Tiny Checks Brights patterned paper and “hung” it on a hanger cut from White Birch Wood Adhesive backed sheet and hooked it on the die cut sentiment. To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment on Peach Bellini card stock cut with Hearts in a Row – Vertical Die-namics, scattered around some Sparkling Clear Mix sequins, and called it done!
