MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge–It’s Been a Long Time!

Hi everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I hadn’t had a chance to play with Playful Giraffes yet so I got them out for this card and created a mini scene also using the tree from Aussie Animals. Using the rectangle as a negative opening, I cut it with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1. I stenciled the clouds, added landscaping with Snow Drifts Die-namics and popped the “frame” up on foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.



I stamped and die cut the giraffe and the trees, colored them, and popped them up in the scene—I love to have images hanging outside of a smaller opening. To finish off, I heat embossed the sentiment on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips and popped it up at the bottom.
