Birdie Brown Cute Chemists–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Four

Hi everyone, and welcome to Day Four of MFT’s January Release Countdown! There are so many cute images and sentiments in this set! Perfect for Valentine’s Day fun! I decided to go kinda CAS with my card with some background interest added. First, I lightly stamped Honeycomb Background (I thought it *loosely* looks like the chemistry grid) with Grout Gray Hybrid ink (always use Hybrid inks when watercoloring is involved) on Ranger watercolor paper and did a watercolor wash over it. Then I stamped the heart grid image across the bottom of the panel, trimmed it off, and also stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice Hybrid ink.



I popped that up with foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I’d adhered a strip of Sweet Stack Paper Pack. Then I stamped the images on No Line Coloring Card Stock, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam tape, as well.
