Sweet Birthday Wishes–May MFT & Friends Feature

All of our May Release products are available in the
MFT Online Boutique NOW! Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you so be sure to also stop by the MFT Blog to see who else is participating!

I hadn’t had a chance to use the SUPER cute Watermelon Die-namics, Sweet Die-namics, or Sweet Sentiments so I got them out for today’s card. If you saw my Pure Innocence card earlier in the Countdown you saw that I discovered that Watercolor Stripes Background makes a PERFECT watermelon rind background so I did that again today using Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink on Sour Apple card stock. I adhered a strip of it at either end of a Sweet Tooth card stock base and proceeded to assemble the watermelon slices (card stock I used is listed below).

Once I had them assembled, I tied two colors of baker’s twine (to match my watermelon flesh) around a Sweet Tooth card stock panel and popped it up on foam tape on the card base. Then I cut and assembled Sweet Die-namics and popped it up to overlap Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set heat embossed on a Skinny Strips Die-namics for the finish.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Visit each of the May Product Launch posts linked on the MFT Blog and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, May 9, for your chance to WIN one of two, $100 MFT Shopping Sprees. The winners will be chosen at random and winners will be announced May 10. Start now because you don’t want to miss a single post!

See you soon!
