You Help Make Me My Best Selfie–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #441

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I love this sketch! The two square elements reminded me of Polaroids so that’s what I went with. I started by stamping the sloth image from BB Picture Perfect Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I wanted the background to show through so I fussy cut it out and adhered it with foam mounting tape to the back of a Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and on which I stamped the sentiment. I then adhered it directly to a Blue Breeze card stock element.

Next I prepared the background by applying a watercolor wash to Ranger Watercolor paper and splattered it with first clear water and then black acrylic ink. I tied around some baker’s twine and popped it up on foam tape to a Sweet Tooth card stock base that had been covered with Black & White Dots paper pack for the finish.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
