Hi everyone, welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week our hostess is Lynn, who is challenging us to some gorgeous colors based on her yummy inspiration piece.
I was very tempted to do a mermaid card but all those pastels reminded me of baby clothes so that’s what I did. I don’t have anything mint colored so I went with Limelight instead. First I sponged my background with Berrylicious dye ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and stamped the sentiment from LLD Welcome, Baby Stamp Set and adhered that panel to a Sweet Tooth card stock card base. I added Grassy Fields Die-namics cut from Limelight card stock, made clothesline poles from strips of Adhesive backed wood card stock and strung the clothesline and bows cut from Primitive White card stock.
Next I cut LLD Bundle of Baby Clothes from, left to right, Party Patterns and Petite Plaid paper pads and Grapesicle card stock. I popped them up on foam and added some clothespins, also cut from the wood card stock. To finish off I added Puffy Clouds Die-namics ‘cause If I’ve got a sky, I’m gonna have clouds ;-)
