Hope Your Day Is a Pile of Fun–Three Days Until MFT’s September Release

Hello, thanks for stopping by for Day Three of
MFT’s September Release Countdown! Release is on September 3rd at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing SY Piles of Fun, SY Piles of Fun Die-namics, Floral Focus, Floral Focus Die-namics, and Bitty Thanks & Gratitude,

Look how much fun these adorable critters are having jumping in that big ol’ pile of leaves!! This is another awesome Stacy Yakula set and you know I’m loving it ‘cause FALL! I started by creating my sky using Mini Cloud Edges, Lush Lagoon dye ink, and a sponge dauber on Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I cut Grassy Fields Die-namics from Jellybean Green card stock, heat embossed the sentiment on the front panel, and popped them up on foam on the card front, which was adhered directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Next I stamped all the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the scene with foam tape.

And there you have it for Day Three of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Thanks again for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day Two!

Thanks for Always Perking Me Up–MFT September Release Countdown, Day Four

Hi all, welcome to MFT’s September Release Countdown, Day Four! Today we’re previewing Café All Day Die-namics, Coffee Cup Shaker Pouches, Mini Café All Day Die-namics, Cup of Love, PI Grande-Sized Love, and PI Grande-Sized Love Die-namics. Release is on September 3rd at 10 am Eastern so make a note!

Awwww, how sweet it this image???? So much fun to create with! To begin, I stamped a border on a Kraft card stock base using Milk Chocolate hybrid ink and images from BB Sweater Weather in the Woods, BB Sweater Weather on Safari—there are one each of the coffee bean images in each set so I was able to stamp four at a time. Next I sponged my background on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Berrylicious and Kraft dye inks and an ink blending tool, then stamped the sentiment at the bottom.

The main image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. I added some grass sprigs with colored pencils and popped the image up on foam tape in the scene. To finish off I added some Cute Cloud Outlines Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT’s September Release Countdown!

Sending Warm Hugs–MFT September Release Countdown, Day Five

Hi all, welcome to Day Five of MFT’s September Release Countdown! September means Fall and that makes me happy! Release is on September 3 at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars. Today we’re previewing BB Sweater Weather on Safari, BB Sweater Weather on Safari Die-namics, BB Sweater Weather in the Woods, BB Sweater Weather in the Woods Die-namics, and Knitted Sweater Background.

I created a sweet scene with these adorable critters in a Fall setting, of course. The sky was stenciled with Mini Cloud Edges and Lush Lagoon dye ink. I made this one more intense blue than I do for other seasons. I don’t know about you, but to me, skies always look so much more BLUE behind Autumn leaves. Then I heat embossed Knitted Sweater Background on the edge of some Ranger Watercolor paper proceeded to create a background with Autumn colors. As a knitter, the knitted border reminds me of a rich tweed yarn and adhered it to the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Then I Stamped Modern Trees Stamp Set and the sentiment from BB Sweater Weather in the Woods on the stenciled sky and popped the Stitched Valley Die-namics die cuts up on foam tape. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up in the scene for the finish.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT’s September Release Countdown!

Just Bee-Cause - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #452

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I used this sketch to create three mini scenes using Meant to Bee Stamp Set and Die-namics. The circles were cut with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX, watercolored backgrounds, and flight trails for the horizontal elements.

The flight trails don’t have coordinating Die-namics but I was determined to use them that I fussy cut them all out :)

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
