Sending Warm Hugs–MFT September Release Countdown, Day Five

Hi all, welcome to Day Five of MFT’s September Release Countdown! September means Fall and that makes me happy! Release is on September 3 at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars. Today we’re previewing BB Sweater Weather on Safari, BB Sweater Weather on Safari Die-namics, BB Sweater Weather in the Woods, BB Sweater Weather in the Woods Die-namics, and Knitted Sweater Background.

I created a sweet scene with these adorable critters in a Fall setting, of course. The sky was stenciled with Mini Cloud Edges and Lush Lagoon dye ink. I made this one more intense blue than I do for other seasons. I don’t know about you, but to me, skies always look so much more BLUE behind Autumn leaves. Then I heat embossed Knitted Sweater Background on the edge of some Ranger Watercolor paper proceeded to create a background with Autumn colors. As a knitter, the knitted border reminds me of a rich tweed yarn and adhered it to the bottom of a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Then I Stamped Modern Trees Stamp Set and the sentiment from BB Sweater Weather in the Woods on the stenciled sky and popped the Stitched Valley Die-namics die cuts up on foam tape. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up in the scene for the finish.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT’s September Release Countdown!
