Merry Christmas–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #469

Hi, everyone, first of all let me wish you all a very Merry Christmas! And I’m back with this week’s
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Well, I definitely used some creative license with this card but had great fun with this sketch! I hadn’t used these adorable images from Reindeer Games yet and it’s today or next year, LOL! First, I sponged the background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and splattered it with clean water. Once dry, I adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock card base and added Snow Drifts Die-namics, also cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

The sentiment, from Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings, was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics and popped up on foam tape with baker’s twine tied on. The images were adhered with foam tape for dimension and it was done!

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
