MFT's January Card Kit, Message in a Bottle Releasing in Two Days!

Hi everyone and welcome to the first day of countdowns for MFT’s January Card Kit, Message in a Bottle! How fun is that?? Message in a Bottle Card Kit will be available for purchase on January 14 at 10am Eastern. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details.

For today’s card I started by sponging my sky using Mini Cloud Edges and Blue Breeze dye ink. Then I cut some Ocean Waves (previously released) Die-namics from some aqua vellum that I’ve had for FOREVER and I’m so ticked to be using is! Next I trialed them on the background to see where to put them and decided where to cut Message in a Bottle Die-namics, inserted Message in a Bottle Shaker Pouches, filled it with a sentiment from Little Love Notes Stamp Set cut with Little Notes Sentiment strip along with some gold seed beads, and added a cork “stopper”.

Next I added the die cut Ocean Waves, popped up on clear foam tape and a sentiment from Smitten with You heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics. I finished of with a sun cut with Beach Scene Builder Die-namics from Pineapple card stock and  Puffy Clouds Die-namics.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day Two of the countdown.
