Happy You Day–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #475

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I decided to use Freshly Picked Die-namics for the circle element of this card so the first thing I did was to cut it out of No Line Coloring card stock and color all the pieces with Copic markers. To make the container look like an old spatterware coffee pot, after it was colored I spattered it with slightly watered-down white craft paint and a small art brush.

For the background I used the new Candy Stripes Stencil and Scattered Straw Distress Ink and Tiny Check Paper pack for the angled element, suggestive of a table top. Foam tape was used for dimension and everything was popped up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
