Final Countdown, One Day Until MFT’s February Release!

Hey there! Welcome to the final day of MFT February Release Countdown! Release is tomorrow at 10am Eastern so set your clocks now! And don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing Birthdays Take the Cake Stamp Set, Birthdays Take the Cake Die-namics, Miss You Die-namics (Previous Free with $60), Candy Stripes Stencil, and Swirly Birthday Die-namics.

I’m using Swirly Birthday Die-namics for my card today, along with a few images from BB Birthday Buds Stamp Set and Die-namics and one from Little Birthday Notes Stamp Set. I sponged the background with Broken China and Frayed Burlap Distress inks then spatter it with some black acrylic ink and a small art brush. Next I cut Swirly Birthday Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and adhere it to the card front with spray adhesive and stamped the little sentiment with Extreme Black hybrid ink. The birds and cake from BB Birthday Buds were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

After I decided where to put the birds, I stamped the music notes from BB Strike Up the Band Stamp set and adhered the birdies with foam tape. The cake was also adhered with foam tape and I finished off with some glittery enamel dots.

And that’s it from me for MFT’s February Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow for this month’s MFT & Friends Feature.
