Hello, Sweet Friend–Color Throwdown Challenge #584

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week our hostess is Amy Rohl and she has a great color combo for us based on her seasonal inspiration piece.

I started by stamping Rose Garden Stamp Set on No Line Coloring card stock, cutting it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and coloring it with Copic markers. I had the idea to add some gold to this card so I added some gold gel pen to the centers of a couple of roses. Once the coloring was done I popped it up on Black Licorice card stock matted with Gold Shine Card stock and adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Next I cut Little Hello Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock and twice from white card stock scraps and adhered them together in a stack with spray adhesive. The sentiment from Well, Hello Stamp Set was heat embossed with gold fine detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and adhered directly to the rose die cut. To finish off I adhered the gold die cut Hello and was done!
