Are You Ready? Two More Days Until MFT’s June Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Two of
MFT’s June Release Countdown! Release is on June 9th at 10am so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing PI Sunny Days Ahead Stamp Set, PI Sunny Days Ahead Die-namics, Baby Shark Die-namics, Sharky Sentiments Stamp Set,Summertime Polka Dots Paper Pad, and Fun in the Sun Paper Pad.

How adorable is this Baby Shark????? OMG cute, right??? I started by creating the background and setting by stenciling Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Ocean Motion Stencil. I wanted light rays coming through the water but didn’t want to wait for white pigment ink to dry so I got the bright idea to try white craft paint and I love it!! I might have been a little heavy handed this time but I’ll be reaching for it and go a little lighter next time. Not only did I get great coverage bit it dried fast!! I splattered some clean water and it was done! The rest of the scene was created using Under the Sea Die-namics—made it easy peasy!

Baby Shark was cut from Cement Gray card stock and I sponged it with Stormy Sky Distress ink. Grout Gray, Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice card stocks finished him off. Baby Shark was adhered with foam tape for dimension and the sentiment, from Sharky Sentiments Stamp Set, was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

That’s it from me today—thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the last day of MFT’s June Release Countdown!
