Joy - Color Throwdown Challenge #622

 

Hello all, welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge! I'm hosting this week and have a color palette based on this yummy inspiration piece for you to play with. Hope to see lots of you in the gallery this week!

For my card, I got out Winter Wreath Stamp Set, heat embossed it with gold detail embossing powder on No Line Coloring card stock, then cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics. Next I created my background, applying a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper and splattering with gold acrylic ink and the challenge colors.

Once the background was dry, I matted it with Gold Sparkle card stock and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. I colored the wreath with Copic markers in the challenge colors and adhered it to the card front with foam tape.

To finish off, I added the Joy from Joyful Wreath Die-namics, cut from Gold Sparkle card stock and also popped up on foam.
