If I Had 100 Hearts They'd All Belong to You...Color Throwdown #628

 

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lynn is our hostess today and she has some SWEET colors for us based on her yummy inspiration piece.

I pulled out the recently released MFT Color Wave Cover-Up since I'd not had a chance to use it for the background. After cutting Ranger watercolor paper I did watercolor washes with the challenge colors, taped the waves together on the back, and splattered with clean water and black and gold acrylic ink before it was popped up on a Black Licorice card stock base.

Next I stamped three hearts from Cute Conversations Stamp Set on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder. They were cut out with the coordinating Die-namics and adhered  with foam tape to the card front.

The sentiment is from Smitten With You stamp set and was also heat embossed with gold embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Fishtail Foundations Die-namics and also popped up on foam. I finished off with lots of little hearts cut from Gold Sparkle card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics. So were popped up on foam and some adhered directly to the card front.
